Yeah Owen is shite isn't he, Chub.

He scored the winner in the FA Cup final of 2001, against Brazil in the World Cup, arguably the best goal ever in France 98 and consistently gets twenty-five + goals a season.

Yeah he's a really shit player, players who do that kind of thing in big games are really bad. I'd much rather have a six foot seven inch donkey who can't control, head or pass a ball who is in the England squad because of football politics.

Note to Chub: The above is all sarcasm at its finest. I think I needed to point that out seeing as you still just don't get it.

It was a good goal I agree, but Sven is crazy.

Why isn't Darren Bent in the England squad after such a good season and Andy Johnson and Jermaine Defoe? Instead we've got an underachiever with no real ability who is in the squad simply because he plays for Liverpool and not less fashionable clubs.

Crouch's penalty was terrible and just shows how bad he is. Good goal that last one but he can't be allowed to claim that own goal. The same applies to Terry.

People should restrain themselves from going OTT in their praise of Crouch, scoring two goals against a mediocre side like Jamaica isn't much.

Darren Bent, Defoe and Kevin Nolan could do the same but their clubs aren't as big as Crouch's club so pompous Eriksson doesn't care. Sorry if I sound so angry today, I just think it's a disgrace that people like him and Walcott will be going to the World Cup and so many good players have missed out.

Yeah I know what you mean. It worked yesterday so well because Jamaica were so bad in defence. I'd have taken Shaun Wright Phillips to mix it up a little, he reminds me of the old fashioned wingers who could take on a defender. We seem to be lacking that nowadays just like a lot of other countries too.

And in two other seasons he scored 23 times and on one other occasion he got 24. You've got to love Wikipedia.

Chub, Peter Crouch hasn't proven anything yet. He had a very good half season in 04-05 at Southampton and scored a few goals for England against the abysmal Jamaica.

When he's scored the amount of goals Owen has I might take talk of him being a good player seriously.
