You could present the outpourings of your heart to a stranger, who might tear your work to pieces and leave you unable to write ever again – or you could attend this workshop. Most songwriters find it impossible to find constructive criticism because judgement is so subjective. One person’s favourite song is another’s most hated. This workshop separates the song writing process from the emotional. It then uses original techniques to allow the participant to explore what creates a good song for them, and use this in their own work. It also provides a source of tried and tested techniques for kick starting the writing process. Whether you write songs yourself, teach others to write, or are simply curious about the process, you’ll find this workshop stimulating, thought provoking, and constructive.
