Agreed Crooks. Once again Shaun Wright Phillips, a player who can actually dribble in the days when that seems to be dying, has missed out on the squad just like he did in Euro 2004. Doesn't make any sense.
Peter Crouch inclusion doesn't surprise me but it still is a fucking disgrace that he will go and Defoe will probably be kicked out of the provisional squad despite being a far better player.
David James must be skint nowadays with all that money he passes to Eriksson to get a look in.
If we can take a kid like Walcott who hasn't a Premiership game under his belt then why can't we take an established legend like Sheringham? He's a proven striker and I don't care if he is 40.
Conclusion: Yet another re-enforcement that Sven is living on a different planet.

Is Shilton on goal? Oh I hope so, he's a great goal defender. Doesn't he play for Manchester United? Well if United are also playin in the world championship cup matches as well as Great Britain, which team is he gonna play for? Britain or United?
