Taking the best hooks and vocal ticks of The La's, The Maybes infuse it with a taste of raunchy Stones guitars and make it all their own sound. Coupled with this is the energy of The Who in their hayday. They've supported Shack and while they are part of Liverpool's vibrant musical resurgence of the past few years, they stand seperate from it as a band of rock and roll star outcasts with their only intention being to get people moving.
