Steve McClarenDoesn't seem like a logical choice to me. Here is a guy who was facing pressure to be sacked a few months ago and now he's managing England. Fair play he's done well in the cups this season and I hope Boro beat Seville next wednesday but they've had a poor season in the Premiership.
Then again what am I getting so frustrated about; nobody ever said the people at the FA were intelligent.

He nows the set-up though and knows all the players well.
And Sven never seems to do anything so it's probably not that big a step up. And he does get passionate which is good.
If you only get managers with experience at World Cup level then eventually they're all gonna bedead cos no-one else got a chance.
I reckon he's just a stop gap anyway. He'll do the Euros then they'll try and get someone big in.

I remember that in the Copa America a team from a different continent used to be allowed to enter and Japan turned up one year. Cool stuff.
