Who's putting on shows in St Helens beside the SHMC?

What's happening at Zoo Bar these days? Has it completely reverted to a chav bar with a wank "Jam" night or has someone else started putting on some funktastic gigs like two bar used to?

there's still a gig night on at the Zoo Bar on Tuesdays, but these days it's more Zutons than Zukanican. Mark Wilson's still a regular fixture though, and The Loungs and the Andrew Bain Band are on there next week for the Loungs' single launch.

The Retro Bar is apparently putting bands on now, as well, and The Rifle was for a while, but i don't know what they're upto now cos i haven't been there for ages.
