Just when I thought Dott's bottle had gone he pulled it out of the bag. It was a nice touch seeing him collecting his first trophy. I felt for Ebdon even if he had won it before, he had really put the scare on Dott with a great comeback but it wasn't enough.
I have to say though that I didn't think much of the final overall. Both players were too defensive. However, it's understandable given the circumstances.

The pressure in those circumstances is fuckin outrageous...defensive?...you bet your ass! I didn't mind it me, the frame that went on for over an hour was entertaining even if it was long, safety exchanges like that are tense especially if its a final. Snooker can be like that sometimes, alright it aint Ronnie O Sullivan bangin in a century break in 10 seconds but for some people, myself included, finals like that are good to watch

That frame was very good. However the first session was piss poor. They were just shite.

The jury is out on chess but it probably is. The first session on sunday was shit 'cos they were exhausted after tons of games.
