I would like to put myself forward to manage the collective!Hello! I'm not sure how many of know me but i used to be heavily involved in the St Helens music scene and would like to get involved again!My name is John Herriott (geordie john), i used to work at the Citadel as a sound engineer, and in box office. I currently work at Parr Street Studio's in liverpool. I run the Disfunktional nights at the Citadel but have been promoting gigs at different venues in liverpool for the past two years. I think that st helens music scene has great potential and would like to see more co-operation between the nights that already exist. I have good contacts with people in the local music scene, studio's, record labels and promoters. I would like to see the collective working hard to help musicians which should be what its there for! And mine, but I've not managed to break into the collective collective, not even managed to get a gig in this old town of mine since doing the Raven over a year ago, contacts is what I need around these parts...so saying all that, maybe my vote don't count ? |

John is a big chum of mine and certainly gets my vote. He gets the job done and is one of the most motivated, get off his ass person I know. If anyone can inject some passion back into the collective he can!
