Fulborn Teversham Sebastian Roachford and Pete Wareham from Acoustic Ladyland, Polar Bear (Mercury Music nominated – they didn’t win it) and the F-IRE Collective present their latest incarnation. Celebrating the release of their debut album Count Herbert II on Pickled Egg Records with a short UK tour, Fulborn Teversham have been described as ‘melodic jazz-punk’ although they transcend such labels. They are joined by vocalist Alice Grant who also sings with….. Leafcutter John John Burton aka Leafcutter John is one of the UK’s most fearlessly inventive electronicists and a full time member of fęted avant jazzers Polar Bear. His fourth album, The Forest And The Sea, is “a striking hybrid of pastoral songcraft, glitch, field recordings and traditional Greek instrumentation that goes far beyond ‘folktronica’, running the gamut of moods from sweetly mournful to darkly malevolent." Leafcutter John’s electronics are accompanied live by vocalists Alice Grant and Simon Bookish. Zukanican Fearlessly exploring the frontiers of krautsamba, Zukanican start the year with new recording sessions to bolster the confusion already created by their Pickled Egg debut album Horse Republic in 2006.
