Anybody seen Doom?So has anybody seen Doom at the cinema. Have to say I enjoyed it last week, no chavs on the back row talking shite either. Considering it's an action film it has a fairly well developed plot (it's not just two hours of shoot 'em up like the 1993 SNES game) and the first hour is mostly character development but the second descends into o.t.t. violence at times.
Rating: 8/10

A lot of them are, you're not wrong.
Look at many of the big films like Terminator 2 and so on and the plot is pretty weak and the film is only really respected because of the excellent affects.
Doom does have a decent plot at the start I think but it descends inevitably into chaos and bloodshed. The Rock's acting is very good and is getting better and better with every film so nobody can criticise his performance. His role as a sargeant in this one is impressive.

Did you see Animal Passions on More 4 last night about Zoophiles?
Brilliant stuff!
Choice quote:
"If I could have a child with her... I don't know... If it was human, or half human or a full foal, I wouldn't care... I know it's a blue sky dream..."

Soon we'll have ITV 10 and BBC 10. We've already got four of each. And we're now on BBC Radio 7. It's never going to stop.
